Skyla is an Atlanta-based landscape designer, gardener, and artist focused on curating outdoor spaces that feel alive, grounded, and deeply connected to space.
Her work is rooted in regenerative systems, ecological (non) function, and the belief that outdoor spaces will nourish both people and land when designed according to feeling natural. Over the past decade, Skyla has worked on urban, suburban, and rural properties, helping people transform conventionally developed land into intentional and ecologically beneficial outdoor space.
Skyla has her BA from Agnes Scott College where she studied political science and studio art. In 2022, she co-developed Fox Gardens, an off-grid homestead project in rural Alabama that includes natural buildings, rainwater harvesting systems, food production systems, and a volunteer education program. She has studied organic farming across the United States and in Japan, and has also spent some years working in Atlanta’s holistic-minded landscaping and professional gardening community. Combined she has 10+ years experience working with plants and ecosystems.
Through Skyla Fox Natural Connections LLC, she creates hand-drawn regenerative landscape designs for homeowners, homesteaders, farmers, and community spaces. Each plan is custom and designed to amplify spatial energy and support thriving relationships between people, plants, animals, fungi, and their place.
